We started our new year with a social event – a walk – which we do every year.
1st of Jan 2024 was a beautiful morning.
The walkers set offWhat a glorious morning for a walk with friends through this wonderful landscape we have on our doorsteps.Very lucky to live on the edge of the Peak District with places like this within walking distance of the farm.We grabbed a friendly passer-by to take a pic of us all at the top of Wadsley Common.
Then it was back to Wendy and Harry’s for a full English breakfast lunch.
Another part of what has become a New Year’s Day tradition for the farm is board games after the walk and full English.
Some played Triominoes in the dining room.Others played Master Mind and Sheffield Monopoly.
